Accessibility statement
Accessible, like the work it does
Last updated 10 October 2026
AltOne exists to make images accessible. This is how we hold our own product to the same standard.
Keyboard first
Every task, from upload to approval, works without a mouse, with visible focus throughout.
Screen readers
Landmarks, labelled controls, and changes such as saved or approved announced as they happen.
Any size, any theme
Light and dark themes, 200% zoom, and phone widths without sideways scrolling.
Motion you control
Animations stop when your system asks for reduced motion, and moving content can be paused.
01Our standard
We aim for AltOne, the site and the app, to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. A product that describes images for people who can’t see them has to be usable by those people too.
02How we test
- Automated accessibility checks (axe) run in our browser tests on every main screen and dialog of the app, in light and dark themes.
- The same tests check each page has its own title and that phone-width layouts don’t scroll sideways.
- Working through the main tasks with only a keyboard, and with NVDA and VoiceOver, is part of our release checklist.
- Text and controls are designed to a contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text.
03What isn’t there yet
- The example on our home page draws a picture with the letters of its description. Screen readers get the full description instead, and the examples can be paused; the lens that shows the original image needs a pointer.
- Descriptions can be written back into PDFs only when the PDF is tagged. For untagged PDFs, download the descriptions as a spreadsheet or use another format.
- Pages from some external services we link to, such as payment checkout, follow those services’ own accessibility.
04Tell us about a problem
If something in AltOne is hard or impossible for you to use, email support@nexorityinfotech.com with “Accessibility” in the subject. Tell us the page and what happened, and what you use to browse if you’re happy to share it. We reply on business days, usually within two, and we treat accessibility problems as bugs.
